Our Town

I assisted in filming and editing this segment. “Our Town” is an annual project done by the Pre-K students of Thomas Sharp Elementary School in Collingswood, New Jersey. With the help of their senior leaders from Collingswood High School, the pre-k students are tasked to create miniature replicas of businesses found in Collingswood: businesses such as The Pop Shop, Inner Groove Records, and, of course, Wawa. This segment was fun to work on as it highlights not only the local students' hard work but also the teachers' drive to commit to a project of this scale. It highlights the passion for the community as well, as the local paper “The Retrospect” and Mayor Jim Maley are involved in “Our Town”.
